Invoices and reminders go out by email from our sending domain under your name. Subscriptions run on Stripe. Everything you store can be downloaded as one file. Today your invoice carries your bank details (IBAN, account number, PayPal, whatever you write in) and the client pays you directly; Go Lancer tracks what came in and chases what did not. Card payments on invoices through Stripe are built and roll out after launch; when they are on, the client gets a pay link on the invoice and the payment marks itself as paid.

Yes. You pick a plan and add a card when you sign up, and nothing is charged for 7 days. We email you before the trial ends; cancel from My Account in one click and you pay nothing. The card is there so that on day 8 your account simply keeps working.

Your data travels encrypted, lives on servers in the EU, and connections to other tools (Stripe, Google, HubSpot, Notion) are stored encrypted. Yes, once a year. After three months on a paid plan you can switch on Slow Month from My Account: billing pauses for one month, your data and reminders keep running, and you pay nothing for that month. No email to support, no re-onboarding when you come back.

Yes. Mark an invoice as recurring and Go Lancer issues the next copy on the day you set, every month or every week, with the follow-up rhythm already attached. Retainers, deposits and marketplace payouts (Upwork, Fiverr) are logged as payments too, so the dashboard shows real money, not just invoices.

That works. Track time, see unbilled hours per client, and invoice from your own tool or accountant. Many people start this way and switch to invoicing from Go Lancer once they see the unbilled number every Friday.

Yes. Upload a CSV or Excel file, paste a Google Sheets link, or bring your clients over from HubSpot or Notion. Tracked time comes over from Toggl, Clockify or Harvest.

The template is yours, so you write it in any language you want. We fill in the placeholders (client name, amount, due date) in whatever language they are stored. The built-in templates are in English; edit them or write your own in your language and the app sends that.

Your data stays yours. You can download everything (clients, projects, invoices, time entries, notes) as one file from My Account at any time, before, during, or after cancellation. We hold cancelled account data for 30 days in case you come back, then hard-delete unless you ask us not to.

Not yet. Go Lancer runs as a PWA today, so you can install it on your phone in one tap and use it like a native app: timer, quick note, mark-paid, send-reminder. Dedicated iOS and Android apps are on our roadmap. The full dashboard stays web-first because that's where freelancers do their real invoicing.

We support 43 currencies using daily ECB rates, everything from USD, EUR, GBP and CZK to INR, BRL, JPY, ZAR, VND, KES and more. If your client's currency is not on the list, write to [email protected] and we add it.

Reminders go out from Go Lancer's own sending domain, with SPF and DKIM set up, so inboxes can check they're genuine. Your client sees your name as the sender, and when they hit reply, the email comes straight to you.

Your clients' data is yours: download all of it or delete your account any time from My Account. We never sell data, and only a few providers help us run Go Lancer (hosting, Stripe for payments, email delivery). Our data processing terms for your clients' data are part of the Terms. Yes, on every plan. Add your logo and pick an invoice design in My Account. Invoices go to your client as a PDF attached to the email, so there's no Go Lancer link for them to open.
