Full disclosure: I've never been a freelancer. I'm a neuroscience grad who fell in love with product and with talking to customers. I've been making things for people on the internet since I was 15: my first one, a collection of quotes on Apple Books, has 28,000+ downloads.

I ran 100+ interviews with freelancers before writing a line of code, designers, writers, developers, illustrators, motion people. The same story kept coming back: they love the freelance work, and they hate the admin around it. Invoices, reminders, follow-ups, spreadsheets, all of it done in the evening, after the real work. So I built the tool they kept describing. 💙👩‍💻

Go Lancer is what came out of those conversations:

• One place that knows every client, project, task, invoice and hour you've tracked.
• Reminders that write themselves, in your voice, under your name, on the days you pick.
• A dashboard that answers "where do I stand right now" instead of showing forty numbers you didn't ask for.

I ship publicly. The roadmap is on the app. When you email me about a feature, it's me reading it, usually within a day.

Turns out, that's how I became a freelancer myself. And a product manager. Of my own product.
